My fear has been that my corporate clients don't understand the motorsports galleries, and my motorsports clients don't like digging through my marketing jargon to find the pictures of their boat. After all, motorsports photography may be a passion, but in the end, its really just a side hustle. My "day job" as a designer and commercial photographer is my primary concern, and therefore, the primary content on my website.... until now.

With more and more events being covered each year, I've decided to make the switch to a second website dedicated solely to Fast Loud Photography. My thoughts are that this will alleviate the confusion between my corporate clients and my editorial clients. Yes, it requires double the investment in the web hosting platforms, but think the benefits will make up for it. This will allow me to confidently market my photography business to my editorial customers, such as magazines and web forums, without confusing them with images of medical devices and fashion shoots.

I'm proud of the work I do on both fronts, and I am proud to now have the web presence and content platform to market them both independently, as they deserve.

Another media platform I have been working hard on this year is my YouTube channel. My intention with this channel is to provide a look at the adventures my photography business has created for me, and offer a look at what it takes to bring you, "Motorsports From Behind the Lens" - which is currently how I'm positioning it. This has been a ton of work, and a huge learning curve, but I'm proud to say that it had fairly good success for its first year (2018) with over 71,000 views and over 4000 hours of watch time to date. I am on my way to achieving content monetization status, however, my subscriber count is still way too low, and frankly, I'm not sure why. Its been difficult to convince people to subscribe and I have a long way to go to reach the 1000 subscribers required to earn ad revenue. If you want to help me out, and get a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to capture these images for the magazines, please consider subscribing at:  https://www.youtube.com/fastloudphotography .  Here's a quick sample of just some of what I covered through the year...

I'm very excited to start 2019 with this new website, and be able to clearly and confidently connect with my customers. From editors looking to hire me for event coverage, to participants looking to purchase images of their beautiful machines, I think this website will do a lot to boost business, and allow me to provide better customer service across the board.

Thank you to all who have supported me thus far. I look forward to seeing all of you at the many events throughout 2019. Happy New Year.
